Cancellation & Refunds

At Char Dham Yatra, we understand that travel plans may change due to various reasons. This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds are processed for our travel services across Uttarakhand.

1. Cancellation by the Customer

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email, WhatsApp, or our contact form. The date on which we receive your request will be considered the official cancellation date.

  • Cancellations made 15 days or more before the travel date: Full refund after deducting applicable booking and service charges.
  • Cancellations made between 7 to 14 days before travel: 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before travel: No refund will be provided.

2. No-Show Policy

If a traveler fails to arrive for the scheduled tour or service without prior cancellation, it will be considered a no-show and no refund will be issued.

3. Cancellation by Char Dham Yatra

In rare situations, we may need to cancel or reschedule a tour due to weather conditions, natural disasters, road conditions, or government restrictions in Uttarakhand. In such cases:

  • You will be offered an alternative travel date or package.
  • If no suitable alternative is accepted, a full refund will be provided.

4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 working days. Refunds will be issued through the original payment method used at the time of booking.

5. Third-Party Services

Certain services such as hotels, transportation providers, and local activities may follow their own cancellation policies. Refunds for such services will depend on the respective provider’s terms and conditions.

6. Changes to Bookings

Requests for travel date changes or itinerary modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
